The Destruction of Alpha Primarus

A glowing yellow electronic wave pulsed across Abrax the Void Stalker's cyclopic eye as he surveyed the crystalline landscape of Alpha Primarus. In every direction, a seemingly infinite network of geometrically arranged needle-like translucent blue towers reached upwards towards a swirling violet sky. Palm upwards, Abrax reached out with his massive, gauntleted right hard. As his fingers began to curl inwards, the towers before him began to shudder and squeal. Suddelny, Abrax slammed his hand into a fist, and the towers exploded into iridescent powder.

Behind him, his cabal of wizard thralls, The Volodian Choir began screeching a discordant harmony. A green glow surrounded Abrax as he began to levitate above the planet's crystalline surface. With a swipe of his left hand, a swath of cosmic destruction leveled the entirety of the ancient edifices before him.
Turning in midair to face The Volodian Choir, Abrax spoke-

"Transmit to the dog, Gorgax, and tell him that he shall soon have his prize. Tonight, my children, we kill The Gods!"

Thirteen disc shaped scrying mirrors orbited the throne of the Space God Chronodar in arcane formation as he searched the myriad destinies. Each one darkness. Each destiny, an infinite void. His mirror chrome visage showed no reaction as he processed the fates. In a sense, it amused him. Something he had not experienced in ages. The end of a cycle.
Suddenly, a silent supernova filled the room with a blinding white light. Each scrying disc shattered and dropped to the floor. When the flash cleared, a Zyldrani Seer knelt on the floor before Chronodar.
Chronodar spoke- "Skypanzer X. You seek to alter the flow of the rivers of fate?"
Skypanzer X rose to his feet,  flashed a grin, and winked at Chronodar.

"You stay here, big guy. I've got this one."

The Battle for X-312 11.08.18

Following the destruction of the space fortress Cerberus, dimensional rifts began to appear throughout the known universe. The area sin space  near these rifts became subject to anomalies of all types, from temporal shifts to cosmic reversals, to the appearance of entities from opposing dimensional existences. One such place was the crumbling hive planet on  The Western Systemic Belt, X-312. A crackling dimensional gate burst into being on the twisted technological world, and from it appeared the heroic Space Wizard, Raeyor-Ca, and with him, his mighty Knights of Ca.

But following them through the portal was the evil Dark Zyldrani Seer, Mach Jetter! Quickly utilizing his demigod-like powers to corrupt the ancient mechanical landscape of X-312 into a biomechanial monstrosity under his control, Mach Jetter launched a campaign of terror and destruction against Raeyor-Ca and his Knights of Ca!

Tributes/homages are always a fun undertaking for me. The primary reason for why I've gotten to this place is my love of those old iconic characters of the past. It's a lineage of creative dna that informs so much of what I do and inspires me to continue creating. Often, those inspirations are buried deep in the designs that I release, or mixed up with so many other inspirations that the end result isn't necessarily recognizable as a direct descendant of any particular thing. Other times, it's fun to say "screw it" and do a proper tip of the hat to a character or two that are near and dear to my heart. This drop is one of those times.

Utilizing the Galaxxor form to create different color ways and characters never ceases to entertain me. But I shouldn't get to have all of the fun...

Canonically, there are 999 Galaxxors. I'm not sure how many I've actually created. 20? 25? The original intention was always to involve you. The concept was to allow Galaxxor's form and universe be a platform in which you could create characters of your own. And with tonight's drop. That vision starts to become a reality!

Along with tonight's drop, I will have a full production wave of blank DIY white vinyl Galaxxors (dome head only) for $20 each. I cannot wait to see what all of you create!

Ankhram the Eternal Unleashes his Onslaught upon the Galaxxorverse 07.19.18

The central command dome of Alpha Primaris crackled with cosmic energy as The Seven Space Gods levitated in arcane formation around a rotating crystalline scrying sphere. Their concentration was briefly broken by the entrance of the Zyldrani Seer, Titansaber, into the chamber. 
The scrying sphere revealed a vision of the tomb planet Hekkat. The ancient Space Wizard Ankram stood surrounded by a battalion of Kabagiffian Hippo Titan Soldiers and facing Galaxxor 002.
"Ankhram!" gasped Titansaber, "But I thought be was..."
Lightning burst forth from Ankhram's fingertips, and one by one, the Hippo Titan Soldiers dropped to the ground, their bodies turned to smoking ash and embers.
"FOOLS!" uttered Ankrahn the Eternal, "I CANNOT BE KILLED! AND I HAVE RETURNED TO DESTROY YOU ALL!"

Reality and unreality swirled together into a multicolored cosmic spiral as Astrokaizer and Galaxxor 001 propelled their physical forms between the dimensions. A vision had brought them to this point. During one of his Zyldrani Xteclan rituals, Astrokaizer became enlightened to an ancient Space wizard casting incantations to steal the immortality powers of the Zyldrani Demigod, Pharoid Prime.
Astrokaizer turned to Galaxxor 001, "We must locate Pharoid Prime's place of slumber within the infinite webway of dimensional realities, before all hope is lost..."

Zartep the Despoiler and his Scarabite Automaton Legion

  

Metallic clangs echoed out as Zartep's boots walked across the obsidian glass-like surface of the planet Duat. How long had he been here?

Had it been centuries?

He truthfully didn't know. He hadn't been aware of the passage of time for as long as he could recall. He was only aware of the swirling, multicolored, bio-mechanical ebb and flow of the dimension he had found himself in. It had changed him. It flowed through him. And it flowed into his legion of Scarabite Automaton Cyborg Space Barbarians.

One hundred rows of one hundred Scarabite warriors stood before him, silent and lifeless, except for the glow of their eyes. Zartep looked up into the undulating chaos of the sky above to a single black slit. He returned his gaze to his legion.

"Today, my children, conquest begins!"

 

Enter the Space Wizard!

This new, double sided production head is a continuation of "Phase 2" of the Galaxxorverse. Words cannot express how pleased I am with how it came out! My buddy, Jarrod, of Wednesday Toys once again absolutely killed it with the digital sculpting on my new head design and I'm once again honored to add his work to the official production Galaxxor mix.

The Seer Awakens, The Legion Arises

 

In a hidden, infinitely expansive pocket dimension, the eons long slumber of Titansaber was disrupted by troubling visions. Legions of Cyborg Space Barbarian automatons marched behind a Space Wizard Sorcerer on a planet of black sand and glowing pyramids somewhere in the dimension known as The Omega. An army, bent upon inter-dimensional destruction was forming. Balance was about to be eternally disrupted.

The Zyldrani Seer's eyes buzzed to life with a yellow glow. 

Titansaber had awakened.

Rocketing through a crackling energy storm emerging from an interdimensional rift, Galaxxor 020 surveyed the turbulent void of space before him. Since destruction of Cerberus and the ensuing collapse of The Lazarus Sector, the barrier between reality and unreality had become paper thin. Undulating  tears in the dimensional fabric appeared with greater and greater frequency, spewing the aw chaos of The Omega into reality. Super powered Space Wizards and their twisted warbands emerged into The Alpha, bent upon destruction and plundering. 

Suddenly, with a thunderous clap and an explosion of cyan light, a sliver clad Zyldrani appeared before Galaxxor 020.

Galaxxor. I am Titansaber, most ancient of the Zyldrani Seers. There is a legion of evil the likes of which this dimension has never seen preparing to unleash it's destruction upon The Alpha. 

You must join me. We must travel into The Omega, itself, to eliminate this threat, before all that you have even known is laid to waste.

I'm extremely excited to announce the drop of my latest figure, Titansaber/Galaxxor 020. Once again featuring the Zyldrani Seer head sculpted by my man Jarrod Penfold, of Wednesday Toys , Titansaber/Galaxxor 020 is cast in black vinyl and sports a really nice silver application, as well as some cyan, magenta, yellow and black aps. There are a couple of new paint details on the Zyldrani head as well as a new tampo on the Galaxxor dome. I'm very pleased with how all of this came out and am looking forward to even further experimentation/exploration with more complex aps and combos.

A Path to the Gate Between Worlds- Enter the Zyldrani

 

Originating from a time eons prior to the existence of the known Galaxxorverse, the Zyldrani are an ancient bio-mechanical race of inter-dimensional beings who have mastered the ability to travel between worlds. Now in the waning stages of their once great civilization, the Zyldrani serve as watchers who maintain balance between dimensions. Any being possessing the ability to control or manipulate the long forgotten paths and gates of The Zyldrani Empire would immediately become a threat to inter-dimensional balance. It is for this reason that the existing Zyldrani Seers remain vigilant in their quest to maintain balance and keep their ancient secrets hidden from malevolent forces.

Youngest among the Zyldrani Seers is Xul-Kulkan, known throughout the dimensions as "Astrokaizer". Astrokaizer's ambitious nature and willingness to interact with other races has made him a legendary figure in the dimension known as The Alpha. When Azralok and his cabal of Space wizards manipulated one of the lost Zyldrani gates into a path directly into The Omega, Astrokaizer had to make his presence known...

Galaxxor 008 levitated in a lotus position, just above the needle-shaped space station known as "Zaraggana". In the scrying portal before him, the events of the battle on the space station Cerberus played out before him in an infinity loop. He watched as three of his brothers were joined by the being known as Astrokaizer in battle against the Space Barbarian Azralok and his 13 Space Wizard henchmen. Galaxxor 008 looked on as the pyramidal space fortress shuddered and crumbled and Azralok and his Space Wizards retreated into The Cerberus Gate.

The scrying portal suddenly began to crackle with cosmic instability, and gradually expanded into a swirling gate. At its center appeared Astrokaizer.

Galaxxor 008, I am Xul-Kulkan. I have come to warn you that your enemies have now at their disposal ancient cosmic magiks far beyond anything you have ever known. I ask you for your help in hunting these foul beings down and maintaining inter-dimensional balance..."

With the introduction of the Zyldrani Seer head type, we now see the beginnings of my plan to make the Galaxxor form into an expandable platform, suitable for an ongoing collection of a wide range of characters and races. My good friend, Jarrod, of Wednesday Toys really knocked it out of the park with the digital sculpting on my new head design and I'm absolutely honored to add his work to the official production Galaxxor mix. I'm still amazed at how he took the concept and was able to make it blend so seamlessly into the existing Galaxxor aesthetic. And stay tuned! There's even more exciting stuff from Jarrod and me, just around the corner!

The Crisis in The Lazarus Sector- The Cerberus Gate

At the heart of the pyramidal space fortress Cerberus, an ancient Zyldrani inter-dimensional gate rumbled under the influence of a dark ritual. Deep in concentration, the Cyborg Space Barbarian Azralok and his cadre of thirteen Space Wizards stood at equidistant points around the perimeter of the crackling reality chasm. Undulating tentacles of unreality licked at the oily air of Cerberus's inner sanctum as a flickering hologram of Lord Gorgax oversaw the ceremony.

With a grinding mechanical groan, the entirety of Cerberus shuddered, and warning klaxons began to echo throughout the fortress. Azralok looked away towards the blinking hologram of Gorgax.

"Don't stop now, you fools!" it growled, "The ritual has begun! We must harness the full power of The Omega!"

With the fortress's defensive barriers dropped, Galaxxor 005 rocketed through the labyrinthine hallways of Cerberus. The influence of The Omega had spread throughout the entirety of the bio-mechanical pyramidal structure. Hallways twisted and warped. Ceilings became floors. Bulkhead doors opened into nothingness. Time stretched. Time snapped. Had he been in Cerebrus for hours? Days? Years?

Three massive "thuds" echoed behind him, and Galaxxor 005 turned to see Galaxxor 002, Galaxxor 011, and a warrior in violet armor with a conical helm. With a deep, vibrating hum, crackles of blackness filled the air around them. Alien energies aligned and focused upon the wall before them, melting a gaping hole into the inner sanctum of Cerberus.

"This ends now!" The violet armored warrior roared.

The Crisis in The Lazarus Sector Continues- The Scimitar

Galaxxor 002 rocketed towards the planet Txoltep. To his right, he saw an ebony behemoth of a ship, tumbling through space, out of control, being torn apart by violent explosions. To his left, he saw the moon-sized pyramidal space fortress known as Cerberus. It rippled with an inter-dimensional unnatural energy that sickened Galaxxor 002's circuits to the core. As he entered Txoltep's arid atmosphere, the interior of his dome began to crackle with cosmic energy. The voices of The Seven Space Gods spoke to him in choral unison...

Galaxxor, we are uploading to you the coordinates of the base known as The Scimitar. It is controlled by the Cyborg Space Barbarian Nebularr and his mutant henchmen. The Scimitar houses the control system for the defenses of Cerberus. You must enter The Scimitar, defeat Nebularr and his followers, and disable Cerberus's defenses. The fate of The Lazarus Sector hangs in the balance!

The expanse of Txoltep spread out below Galaxxor 002. It was a shimmering desert wasteland framed by crystalline mountain ranges. Crackling lightning storms shredded the dark purple of Txoltep's skies. In the distance, Galaxxor 002 saw a great tower, reaching skyward. The bio-mechanical construct of some ancient mad architect, the twisted tower flared towards the top, like a nightmarish curved blade. From its tip, swirling black energies swirled upward into space.

The iridescent white sand of Txoltep exploded in a glittering cloud as Galaxxor 002 landed before the entrance of The Scimitar. Almost immediately, a great door opened, and a horde of mutant warriors walked out. Towering, multi-limbed insectoid monstrosities charged towards Galaxxor 002.

Hearing a great "THUD!", Galaxxor 002 looked back to see that Galaxxor 011 had landed behind him. Nodding to one another in recognition, the two turned toward the monstrosities and prepared for battle...

The darkness of the control room of The Scimitar was lit only by the unearthly glow of arcane machines and a central holoscreen. Surrounded by his insectoid henchmen, Nebularr looked on as the holoscreen displayed the Cyborg Space Barbarian Azralok and his cabal of Space Wizards . In the core of Cerberus, they levitated above a rift in the very fabric of reality. Psychic energy burst forth from their eyes as beasts from beyond this plane shuddered in and out of form.

Suddenly, the warning klaxons of The Scimitar sounded. 

His fortress was under attack!

The Battle Begins- 08.22.16 at 8pm Central

It has been 100 years since the great cosmic robot hero, Galaxxor, was killed.
Slain by the dreaded Lord Gorgax with a planet sized weapon known as The Ultimate Nullifier Cannon, the physical being of our robot hero was splintered into 999 shards, each flung to the far reaches of the pocket dimension known as The Alpha. Almost immediately, a glowing green shell formed around the home of The Seven Space Gods, the crystalline planet, Alpha Primarus.
Over the past 100 years, Gorgax, his elite cadre of Cyborg Space Barbarian henchmen, and their Evil Mutant Legion has wreaked havoc upon the countless worlds of The Alpha. Some planets have held strong, but others have fallen to darkness and chaos.
But there is hope.
The neon shell that has surrounded Alpha Primarus has disappeared, and brilliant explosions of cosmic power are appearing at random locations, throughout The Alpha. In places like the giant blue sun, Anubis 5, and the hive world known as "Dragon City", new Galaxxors are appearing.
On 08.22.16, the battle begins!

It's been a long road to the full realization of this first batch of fully painted Galaxxor figures, from Galaxxor 001 and 007 to that bad, bad dude Gorgax, I'm truly unable to express just how excited I am about how nicely these figures came out. Even the "alt" characters, the Cyborg Space Barbarians Thanyr and Infernicus, and that mysterious entity known as "Roxxalag" blow my mind every time I pick them up and play around with them.
Hopefully, these guys are indicators to you of all of the fun and weirdness that we have in store for the future. It's going to be a crazy ride. Thanks for coming along with me!

The Cosmic Supernova- 05.25.16 at 8pm Central

In a lost dimension, light years from our world, super-powered cosmic robots do battle with Cyborg Space Barbarians for the fate of the universe! And soon, their power will be in your hands!

At the heart of the cataclysmic event known as The Cosmic Supernova, amidst the swirling energies of The Alpha dimension and the The Omega dimension, Galaxxor and Gorgax are locked in combat. Glowing cosmic green, the outcome of their conflict will alter The Galaxxorverse's timeline forever! It is an epic battle at the end of all things, and sets the cosmic wheels in motion for the beginning of an even more epic saga...

I still have a very vivid memory of being very young, being surrounded by my old MOTU figures, and my mother saying to my grandmother, "Someday, he's going to make toys."
It's been a long journey to this point. With the help of some humblingly talented collaborators, I've been creating Galaxxor figures, in the form of resin and custom toys for many years. And now, we're about to start a new chapter of the Galaxxor story with full production, Glyos-compatible vinyl action figures!

To adequately express how excited I am to be able to bring you production Galaxxor figures would be impossible. As would it be to express just how grateful for the help and guidance of Marty Hansen, Matt Doughty and True Cast Studio throughout this journey. I'm extremely lucky to have had some of the greatest minds in modern toymaking help me to bring you a Galaxxor that is far beyond what I had ever dreamed it could be.

It's also worth noting that, for this batch, a bit of heat and squeezing to the top of the chest piece will be required to swap out the domed head, once it's removed. I can't wait to get these into everyone's hands! And this is just the beginning.
