The Battle Begins- 08.22.16 at 8pm Central

It has been 100 years since the great cosmic robot hero, Galaxxor, was killed.
Slain by the dreaded Lord Gorgax with a planet sized weapon known as The Ultimate Nullifier Cannon, the physical being of our robot hero was splintered into 999 shards, each flung to the far reaches of the pocket dimension known as The Alpha. Almost immediately, a glowing green shell formed around the home of The Seven Space Gods, the crystalline planet, Alpha Primarus.
Over the past 100 years, Gorgax, his elite cadre of Cyborg Space Barbarian henchmen, and their Evil Mutant Legion has wreaked havoc upon the countless worlds of The Alpha. Some planets have held strong, but others have fallen to darkness and chaos.
But there is hope.
The neon shell that has surrounded Alpha Primarus has disappeared, and brilliant explosions of cosmic power are appearing at random locations, throughout The Alpha. In places like the giant blue sun, Anubis 5, and the hive world known as "Dragon City", new Galaxxors are appearing.
On 08.22.16, the battle begins!

It's been a long road to the full realization of this first batch of fully painted Galaxxor figures, from Galaxxor 001 and 007 to that bad, bad dude Gorgax, I'm truly unable to express just how excited I am about how nicely these figures came out. Even the "alt" characters, the Cyborg Space Barbarians Thanyr and Infernicus, and that mysterious entity known as "Roxxalag" blow my mind every time I pick them up and play around with them.
Hopefully, these guys are indicators to you of all of the fun and weirdness that we have in store for the future. It's going to be a crazy ride. Thanks for coming along with me!
Here's the word on the 08.22 drop-

GALAXXOR 001/THANYR:

Produced in a reflex blue vinyl, these 5.5" figures feature Glyos vinyl-compatible articulation at the head, shoulders and chest/waist. They sport multiple paint aps and tampo printing. Each figure comes with both the dome(Galaxxor 001) head and the horned(Thanyr/Cyber Space Barbarian) head.

GORGAX/ROXXALAG:
$30 each, Limit 2 per order
Produced in a black vinyl, these 5.5" figures feature Glyos vinyl-compatible articulation at the head, shoulders and chest/waist. They sport multiple paint aps and tampo printing. Each figure comes with both the dome(Roxxalag) head and the horned(Gorgax/Cyber Space Barbarian) head.

GALAXXOR 007/INFERNICUS:

All kinds of thanks, once again, goes to Matt Doughty and Marty Hansen, for their invaluable guidance. And Mark Vasquez, for all of his help, behind the scenes.

All 3 Galaxxor figures will go on sale Monday night, 08.22.16, 8pm Central at galaxxor.com.

Sgt. Krugg, Hippo Titan Soldier Drops 05.24.13 at Noon CDT

From the planet Kabagiff, in the solar system that revolves around the blue star Anubis 5, comes Sgt. Krugg, Hippo Titan Soldier! Under the benevolent rule of Imperator Zog, the Kabagiffian are a heroic and militaristic race who rebelled against General Gorgax and his Evil Mutant Legion with the help of Galaxxor 001. Given the divine sanction of The Seven Space Gods, The Kabagiffian Army staunchly defends its planet from invasion and also lends assistance to peacekeeping Galaxxors when additional support is required.
Sgt. Krugg was designed, sculpted and mashed up by Ben Spencer and engineered and produced in resin by ManOrMonster? Studios. He features 3 points of magnetic articulation (waist and shoulders), as well as a blunderbuss accessory, which can be held in his hand or magnetically mounted on his hip or back. Krugg was hand painted by Ben Spencer. This figure is limited to an edition of 5 and will never be released in this colorway ever again.
The added element of the magnetic articulation adds a really cool "play" value to The Hippo Titan Soldier, which is an exciting new thing for my toys. It's also worth noting that the magnet system is completely compatible with all ManOrMonster? figures, including the awesome Warlords of Wor line. Magnets! How do they work?
Sgt. Krugg, Hippo Titan Soldier will be limited to an edition of 5 and will be available at noon CDT on 05.24.13 for $85 each, exclusively from The Galaxxor Online Store.

Lucha Sharks!

Things are about to kick into overdrive for my latest toy project, The Lucha Sharks! You probably know all about the figures by now, but you might not necessarily know exactly how those beer loving anthropomorphic Luchadors fit into the Galaxxorverse. You could even call Lucha Sharks a "spinnoff". Indeed it is truly the Family Matters to Galaxxor's Perfect Strangers.

Following General Gorgax's conquering of Xanthos and assembly of his Cyborg Space Barbarian retinue, he amassed The Evil Mutant Legion as his army of intergalactic domination. Of the warriors of The Evil Mutant Legion, none was more fierce and powerful than Tiburonicus, The Bloodthirsty Berzerker Sharkman. Following the conquest of numerous solar systems, Tiburonicus was finally brought to justice by Galaxxor 003 and taken back to his home planet, Hive World X-544.
Universally renowned for their love of gladiatorial combat, the people of X-544 called out for the infamous berzerker to be thrown into the combat pits to fight for their entertainment. Rising to stardom on X-544, Tiburonicus made short work of every opponent he faced, as well as most of the pit staff and a good deal of the fans in the crowd. Following his rapid rise to fame, Tiburonicus was quickly banished to an underground cell laboratory.
Years later, clones of Tiburonicus returned to the gladiatorial pits, this time, they were equipped with Luchatronic helmets. These helmets kept the killer instinct and super strength of the Sharkmen clones intact but replaced the extreme berzerker bloodlust of their gene father with a keen instinct for solving mysteries and an insatiable appetite for hotwings and beer.

Header Card Back Art by Steve Seeley

Here we have the header card back for the first few Galaxxors. Once again, an outstandingly badass piece of art by Mr. Steve Seeley, this image features Galaxxor doing what he does best- fighting monsters!
If you're wondering on the status of the drop of the Galaxxor 001's, my best guestimate would be early November. Painting is going really well and I should have some high quality images of the finished Galaxxor 001 colorway up next week, along with an official release date.
For even more art from the Steve Seeley, please be sure to check out his official site here.

Galaxxor 001 Paint WIP

I'm not entirely sure how interested anyone is in seeing this, but I wanted to get up an image to show that I have begun the painting of the Galaxxor 001's. Shown here are just the base colors. I have a bit of detailing that I plan to do in other colors, but probably won't be showing any of that until I have the final, polished product to show. At that time, I will give concrete details of the price, date and time of the sale of the 5 Galaxxor 001's in the Galaxxor Online Store.

Final Galaxxor 001 Transmission from The Godbeast

Before shipping off the unpainted Galaxxor 001's to me, The Godbeast snapped these sweet pics of them and posted them to his blog. They are seen here with the white prototype sculpt, a gray resin prototype (just in case Galaxxor decides to go vinyl), and the awesome Mammoth Monster figure, designed by TGB's son, MJ.
The Galaxxor 001's should be showing up on my doorstep any day now, and I can't wait to get up some WIP painting images up of them asap. I'm still aiming for a OCtober sale date for the 001's through The Galaxxor Online Store.
Stay tuned. Things are just starting to get interesting!

Unpainted Cyan Galaxxors in Blacklight

Courtesy of The Godbeast, we have these awesome pics of three of the unpainted Galaxxor 001 figures (in translucent cyan resin) glowing under a blacklight. So yeah, to add to the awesomeness, the pieces in this first run will feature a uv reactive glow feature. For even more photos of these guys in all ov their glowing glory, check out the "Galaxxor" set over on Nerd City's Flickr.

In other news, I am very happy to announce that Steve Seeley has agreed to handle the header card art duties for Galaxxor. This is super cool, because Steve's not only a great guy, but also one of my favorite artists! Check out Steve's site here.
Finally, I've been getting a lot of questions regarding how and when Galaxxor 001 will be available for purchase. Please stay tuned to this blog, as I will give you plenty of forewarning here. This will also be the actual place to order the toy when it finally does go on sale. The initial edition of 5 should drop in October some time. But yeah, keep an eye on the blog for more details/developments!
